Don’t turn on that mute button!

We want you guys to listen to us!  We just don’t want to listen to you.

Now before you get into a tizzy, let me explain.  Voice chat has become a major part of online gaming.  Such a major part that in any decent multiplayer online match, you would not only be heckled but possibly kicked (with vigour!) out of a match for the lack of a microphone.

Is voice chat really necessary to online games?  I’m of the opinion that there should be some sort of government mandated test before a child is allowed on Xbox Live with a headset.  Or allowed on XBox Live in general.  Hell - before they get within fifteen feet of technology.

Is the old adage true?  Should children be seen and not heard?  Of course not - they shouldn’t even be seen.  Join us as we interrupt your match of Team Fortress 2 by playing Linkin Park through your voice channel!
